Brody area, Pidkamin village, north-eastern outskirt

49° 57′ N lat.; 25° 20′ E long.

Cliff. Square 0,3 hectare

Geomorphologic.

This object is an isolated cliff up to 16 m high at the top of small hill in Gologoro-Kremenetska ridge. It is erosion remnant of Upper Miocene (11 Ma) Sarmatian calcareous sandstones. Close to the cliff there is ancient cemetery. Some legends are related to the object.

The cliff makes landscape impressive. It is typical example of erosion remnants of Sarmatian sandstones.

Ecological conditions are suitable.

Paved road Brody-Ternopil passes through Pidkamin village.

Legally the object is defined as local-rank geological landmark.

It is suggested to give the status of regional-rank landmark.
