Cliffs along northern slope of the ridge which bound glacial circus

Stratigraphic, geomorphologic.

At the crest of Svydovetskiy mountain massif in impressive cliffs there is exposed Upper Cretaceous-Paleogene clay-sandy flysch. Cliff are about 2.5 km in length and 40-70 m in height. There one can observe kar glacial forms and final moraines of Vurmian glaciation in Carpathians with typical hilly-depression relief and small moraine lakes. In this area of Ukrainian Carpathians at the sufficient heights and northern slopes the sculpture and accumulative glacial forms are most fresh-preserved due to lack of forest cover.

Svydovets cliffs themselves comprise the fragment of cliffy walls of the Tertiary glacial circus formed as a result of breaking activity of mountain glaciation in Middle-Upper Pleistocene. Impressive and amazing patterns of this Carpathian area traditionally attract numerous tourists and wild-nature fanciers.

Ecological conditions are suitable.

Accessible by motor-car up to the ski-camp Dragobrat then 7 km by walk to north-west along tourist path.

Legally the object as geological landmark is not defined yet.
