Karst funnels
Geomorphologic.
Along the distance more than 30 km between the cities Tlumach and Gorodenka in the places of near-surface position of Upper Miocene Tyraska Suite sulphate rocks there occurs extensive development of karst forms — funnels, depressions, karst remnants, small caves. Most typical funnels occur close to Gorodenka City. There they are about 8-12 m in diameter and 5-6 m deep, often is finished with holes.
This is classical example of surface karst forms characteristic for the sulphate successions in Podolian region.
Ecological conditions are suitable.
Located along ll-class motor-car road Tlumach—Gorodenka.
Legally the object as geological landmark is not defined yet. It is suggested to give the status of geological regional-rank landmark.
